Nancy Heingartner est titulaire d'un doctorat en langues slaves. Elle a exercé diverses fonctions — professeure universitaire, chargée de liaisons avec les éducateurs et diplomate. Depuis 2007, elle travaille comme interprète médicale indépendante. Plus que tout, elle aime manger des gâteaux, danser, nager, passer du temps avec son fils et ses amis, voyager et profiter de la compagnie des animaux. Nancy a trouvé l'écriture d'un livre à la fois très stimulante et très gratifiante.

Nancy Heingartner has a Ph.D. in Slavic languages. She has done stints as a college professor, an academic outreach professional, a foreign service officer, and, since 2007, has worked as a freelance medical interpreter. More than most other things, she loves eating cake, dancing, swimming, spending time with her son and her friends, traveling, and appreciating animals. Nancy found writing a book both tremendously challenging and tremendously rewarding.
